I wish to thank everyone who expressed their support by voting for me in the Town Council race for Ward 1 on May 6. I thank those who invited me into their homes; those who distributed campaign literature, and those who displayed my signs in their yards.
Most especially, I was able to meet many new people who have similar points of view about the need for change in our community. I've learned much from this experience and shall continue my active participation in local politics from the vantage point of an interested citizen. There remains so much to do in Berryville to make it an outstanding town.
I may have lost the election in the total number of votes, however, I certainly won in newly gained experience.
Many thanks to my old friends, and to my new friends for your support.
