Berryville Primary School held three productions of Hansel, Gretel and Fred, presented by students in Mrs. Hartsook's and Ms. Weintz's Reading Academy last week.

In a revised version of the classic story, the children warned of the harms of consuming excess sugar.

“Eat healthy and you won't be grouchy,” was a line they said together. The students at the school helped build the stage props and memorized their lines.
