Third time's a charm?

Clarke County High School will face host top-seeded George Mason May 22 soccer action in Falls Church.

The Eagle girls beat Madison County 4-0 Tuesday night in Berryville as senior Danielle Moyer scored all the goals. Eagle netminder Haley Socha, a sophomore, pitched her seventh shutout. The win advanced CCHS to the Bull Run District finals at 7 tonight.

The Eagle boys nipped Madison County 4-3 Tuesday in Berryville to move on to the district title game today at 5 p.m. Bryant Henriquez netted three goals, and goalie Ray Smetanick made 17 saves.

CCHS boys team has lost twice to George Mason this season, while the CCHS girls squad tied George Mason 3-3 and lost 2-1 during the regular season. In district-semifinal action, George Mason's boys beat Rappahannock 3-1 and George Mason's girls posted a 2-0 victory over Rappahannock.
